Open Data (RSS)

The site publishes its news, events and Silent Keys as RSS feeds, and its net schedules as calendars you can subscribe to. Put a feed's address into any feed reader, or a calendar's address into your calendar app, and new items come to you without checking back here. No key and no sign-up; they are static files.

Net calendars (iCal)

Statewide nets

https://indianahamradio.com/calendars/indiana.ics

Every recurring statewide net — the traffic nets, the section CW and ARES nets and the statewide digital nets — as repeating calendar events.

One county's nets

https://indianahamradio.com/calendars/{county}.ics

The same for a single county, carrying that county's local nets alongside the statewide ones. The county part is the county page's name: delaware.ics, marion.ics, stjoseph.ics and so on. The Nets page explains how the schedule is kept.

How to subscribe

A feed: copy its address above and add it to your feed reader (most readers have an “add feed” or “subscribe by URL” button). Many browsers and readers will also find the feeds on their own from this site's pages.

A calendar: in Google Calendar choose “From URL” under “Other calendars”; in Apple Calendar choose File → New Calendar Subscription; in Outlook choose “Subscribe from web”. Paste the address. Your app checks it for changes on its own schedule.

Everything behind these feeds — clubs, repeaters, nets, hamfests, license statistics and more — is published as JSON on the Open Data (JSON) page.
